Sixth short story competition of Fundação Oriente

The Fundação Oriente (Delegation of India in Goa) organizes the sixth short story competition. These stories can be written in Concanim, Marata, Portuguese or English.

The Concanim language is predominant among the population of the Catholic religion and the Maratha language predominant among the population of the Hindu religion, the majority in Goa. Portuguese is spoken by a minority (approximately 5,000 speakers), predominantly confined to the Catholic elite and aged over 50 years old. A large part of the Goan population speaks English, which is the predominant language of instruction in official education.
