CineClub Brasil – Brazilian Film in Goa

Four Brazilian films will be screened in two institutions in Goa. The screenings are organized by the Brazilian Cultural Centre in Goa (BCCG) together with the Lusophone Society of Goa (LSG) with the support of the Brazilian Embassy in New Delhi.

“Don’t worry, nothing will work out” (in Portuguese: Não se preocupe, nada vai dar certo), comedy.
At Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao – Comba on December 11 Wednesday at 2:30 pm

Central Station (in Portuguese: Central do Brasil) is a 1998 Brazilian–French drama directed by Walter Salles, starring Fernanda Montenegro and Vinícius de Oliveira.
At Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim – Altinho on December 13 Friday at 9:30 am

The Joy  (in Portuguese: A Alegria). This film is a tale about youth and courage and tells the story of Luiza, 16 years old, who is just tired of hearing about the end of the world.
At Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim – Altinho on December 13 Friday at 11:30 am

Road 47 (in Portuguese: A Estrada 47) is a 2013 drama film written and directed by Vicente Ferraz, based on real events about Brazil’s involvement in World War II.
At Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao – Comba on December 14 Saturday at 2:30 pm

All films with English subtitles. Open for the general public.
